In 1877, Eadweard Muybridge introduced photography to capture motion, the world's first motion-picture exhibition was given in New York City.

It is the record of first feature-length motion picture film. The film includes 6 interesting songs and directed by American film director Alan Crosland and produced by Darryl F. Zanuck and also Darryl won a world-first producer award of Academy Honorary Award. The Jazz Singer proud to be the first English film with $422,000 budget and box office collection is $2.6 million.



First Hollywood Blockbuster Movie


The first Hollywood blockbuster movie is Jaws in 1975, is an American thriller film directed by American film director Steven Spielberg and produced by Richard D. Zanuck and David Brown. Music is composed by John Williams. The budget of the film is just $9 million dollar and box office collection is $472 million dollar.

The first 3 screen theater in United States is Cheri theater in Boston in 1967. The first 7 screen theater in United States in 1981. The first 14 screen theater in United States is Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles, California in 1982. The first 18 screen theater in United States in 1987. Studio 28 introduced 20 screens with a seating capacity of 6,000 in 1988 and closed in November 2008. In 1994 AMC Grand 24 introduced 24 screens. 21 screen Edwards Theater opened in Irvine, California in 1995. AMC Grand 24 closed in November 2010 and reopened in 2012, now run by 30 screens. Currently biggest movie theater in the US is AMC Grand 24.
